Today we begin this mini-series within the Exodus Series with a question that reaches beneath our words, beneath our songs, and beneath our Sunday routines: what do we worship while we wait? 

Exodus 32 brings us to one of the most painful moments in Israel’s story, but it also holds up a mirror to our own hearts. When God seems silent, when answers are delayed, and when the mountain feels quiet, the heart begins to reach for something to hold. This sermon asks us to examine what we run to in those waiting seasons and whether Christ truly occupies first place.
